About the project
Built the core integration layer for OurHaven's home-services marketplace. The API issues partner credentials, enforces business hours, orchestrates laundry and meal-plan orders, and synchronizes payments, notifications, and customer data across mobile apps and third-party providers.

Challenges
- 01Expose partner onboarding, order creation, and catalog management through a single contract while supporting both REST clients and GraphQL mutations
- 02Secure partner calls with Firebase-issued JWTs plus rotating API keys and restrict service windows based on each vendor's opening and closing times
- 03Coordinate payment confirmations, meal/laundry fulfillment, and alerting across Paystack, Pusher real-time channels, Slack, and email
- 04Maintain observability and failure recovery while multiple asynchronous jobs and webhooks mutate shared customer data
Solutions
- 01Implemented Lighthouse GraphQL schemas alongside REST controllers so partners can use whichever contract fits their integration path
- 02Issued clientId + ourHavenApiKey pairs via GraphQL mutations and validated them with custom middleware that checks token headers and operating hours
- 03Abstracted payment gateways with Spatie Webhook Client and Paystack integrations, piping events into Redis-backed jobs that update orders, trigger Pusher notifications, and send SparkPost emails
- 04Instrumented Sentry, Spatie Server Monitor, and structured logging to observe queue workers, reconcile failures, and allow safe retries without data drift
